Delivery & Returns

  1. PAYMENT OPTIONS
    1. Online – We accept all major debit and credit cards using Worldpay’s secure online payment gateway.
    2. Bank Transfer – We will send full details to you upon completion of your order.
    3. In person – We accept all major debit and credit cards. Please bring your valid photographic ID (passport or driving licence) with you.
    4. Please note that we do not accept cheques.
  2. DELIVERY
    1. Once we have confirmed that your payment has cleared, your watch will be sent to you fully insured using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery next working day service. Please be aware that the watch must be signed for.
    2. All orders processed and paid for by 12pm will be shipped on the same day (except Saturdays). Orders placed after 12pm will be shipped on the following working day.
  3. COLLECTION
    1. You can make an appointment and visit us at our office in Rugby. For your peace of mind our facilities have secure entry / exit points..
    2. All viewings are strictly by appointment only and between Monday to Friday 10am – 5pm.
    3. Please contact us 24 hours before the day you would like to visit us to confirm availability. If you cannot attend your appointment please give us as much notice as possible and we will do our best to arrange another time for you.
    4. For security reasons all of our stock is kept off-site at a secure facility.
  4. WARRANTY
    1. Scope of Cover:
      1. All of our watches come with a minimum of twelve months’ warranty from date of delivery.
      2. If a watch is still under a manufacturer warranty, but has less than twelve months remaining then we will top this up to twelve months.
      3. Please note that our warranty is limited to manufacturing and mechanical defects only.
      4. Normal wear and tear (cosmetic or otherwise) and damage caused by mistreatment / incorrect use is excluded, as well as damage caused by submersion in water.
      5. If a case is opened by a third party then this will invalidate any warranty claim.
      6. As is standard practice, wear and tear to the watch strap is excluded.
      7. Mechanical watches can gain / lose time each day. We cannot be held responsible for a time deviation greater than 0.7% in any 24 hour time period.
    2. Claim Procedure:
      1. In the event of a warranty claim, please email us to info@watchesofwarwick.co.uk immediately explaining the nature of the fault.
      2. Once we have acknowledged your email, please send your watch to our Rugby address.
      3. Please be aware that you must ensure that the watch is adequately insured and this cost as well as the postage will be your responsibility.
      4. Once our watchmaker has examined the watch, we will confirm to you that the claim is covered under the warranty and provide you with an estimated repair time.
      5. If the claim is not covered under the warranty, we will notify you immediately and provide you with a repair cost. Should you decide to proceed with the repair, we will provide you with an estimated repair time and take payment for the repair. Should you decide not to have the watch repaired then we will return it to you.
  5. RETURNS POLICY
    1. We offer a 14 day refund policy for all on-line orders.
    2. Please notify us by email to info@watchesofwarwickshire.co.uk immediately and ensure that the good are returned to within 14 days of you receiving them.
    3. Once we have acknowledged your email, please send your watch to our PO Box address. Please be aware that you must ensure that the watch is insured to the watch’s invoice value and this cost as well as the postage will be your responsibility.
    4. All items must be returned unworn and in the exact same condition that you received them. For new watches, all protective seals must still be in place.
    5. Watches will be inspected by our watchmaker before any refunds are issued.
    6. All boxes, paperwork and accessories must be present and in the same condition you received them. If anything is missing, we reserve the right to make an adjustment to the refund amount to take into account the financial impact of any missing items. This will not be more that 25% of your invoice value.
  6.  PRICES
    1. All of our prices are in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.
    2. We use the VAT margin scheme so no VAT is chargeable by us to you.
    3. In the unlikely event that a watch has been priced incorrectly, we will amend this at the earliest opportunity. We audit our prices prior to processing any orders – if an incorrectly priced watch has been ordered online, we reserve the right to cancel the order and offer the watch to you at the correct price.
  7. COMMISSION SALES
    1. Our commission for this service is 10% of the selling price.
    2. All watches must be accurately described, including their cosmetic appearance, function, paperwork and accessories.
    3. Once you have approved a sale price, we will arrange for the fully insured collection of the watch.
    4. We will examine watch to determine any repair work, both mechanical and cosmetic. Once you have approved this work in writing, we will take payment and carry out the repair prior to the watch being put up for sale.
    5. Once we have sold the watch, we will deduct our commission and send the balance back to you.
    6. When using a commission sale, we are under no obligation to purchase the watch. If you decide to take the watch off sale, we will require payment for any shipping and repair costs we have incurred.
  8. BRACELET SIZES
    1. Bracelet sizes will vary as watches are not always supplied to us with a full set of links. If no bracelet size is given then any additional links will be chargeable.
  9. INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS
    1. Please contact us prior to purchase if you are looking to buy from outside the UK.
  10. FRAUD SCREENING
    1. We will from time to time carry out security checks prior to shipment that include contacting you on a landline home or work telephone number.
    2. If we reasonably suspect that the transaction is fraudulent we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and put the item back up for sale.
    3. For bank transfers we will consider delivering to a work address providing we have an email from your work email confirming all details. We are under no obligation to dispatch to any other address.
